Job summary

PC Construction is seeking a Senior Project Engineer with experience in heavy civil, water, or wastewater construction to join our 100% employee-owned team. You will act as a key technical resource, overseeing project administration, procurement, cost control, scheduling, and document management to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.

This role collaborates with field teams, owners, engineers and subcontractors, mentors junior staff, and drives safety, quality, and schedule

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of construction project engineering experience, preferably in water/wastewater infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of contract management, procurement, scheduling, and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Lead project documentation, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and contract administration activities.
• Review plans, specifications, and owner contracts to identify risks and opportunities.
• Coordinate procurement efforts, vendor pricing, subcontract negotiations, and material deliveries.
• Support budget management, owner billings, cost tracking, and schedule updates.
• Collaborate with field teams, owners, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve project challenges.
• Help drive project safety, quality, and schedule performance.
• Mentor and support Project Engineers, Office Engineers, and interns.
