Job summary

TYLin seeks a Senior Project Controls Specialist (Scheduler) for the PMCM group to support rail/transit CMCI projects, including clients like WMATA and AMTRAK. The role is based at the client site in Alexandria, VA.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of construction scheduling experience, a BS in Engineering or related field, and strong Primavera P6 proficiency to manage baseline, update, and recovery schedules while coordinating with clients and consultants.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
• 8+ years of construction project scheduling experience or equivalent.
• Understanding of scheduling processes preferred.
• Familiarity with Primavera P6 preferred.
• PMI or AACEI certifications are preferable.

Responsibilities

• Participate in logistical and delivery and workforce planning with project personnel, and incorporate into a CPM schedule using Primavera P6.
• Review and provide comment on contractor baselines, updates and recovery schedules using Primavera P6.
• Attend project progress and schedule meetings.
• Accurately track contractor work progress related to schedule.
• Maintain liaison with client and other consultants at all project stages.
• Identify improvements for schedule procedures, templates and products.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Project Controls Specialist (Scheduler) to work for our PMCM group on various rail/transit CMCI projects. The candidate will support projects with clients such as WMATA, AMTRAK or similar. This position will be based in at our client site in Alexandria.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Participate in logistical and delivery and work force planning with project personnel, and incorporate into a CPM schedule using Primavera P6 Software.
• Review and provide comment on contractor prepared baseline, update and recovery schedules using Primavera P6 Software.
• Attend project progress and schedule meetings.
• Accurately track contractor work progress related to schedule.
• Maintain liaison with client and other consultants at all project stages.
• Identify improvements for schedule procedures, templates and products, and refer ideas to appropriate line manager.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• BS in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
• 8+ years of construction project scheduling experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Understanding of construction scheduling processes preferred.
• Familiarity with and knowledge of Primavera P6 preferred.
• Certifications with PMI or AACEI is also preferable.
