Job summary

Align Industrial is seeking a Project Controls Manager to lead our project controls team in Plaquemine, Louisiana. You will oversee cost estimating, cost management, schedule development and control, progress measurement, change management, and executive reporting across a capital project portfolio.

You will supervise schedulers, cost engineers, and controls specialists; establish and maintain the controls baseline; drive disciplined processes; and provide objective performance data to support

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field preferred.
• 12+ years of capital project controls experience with a minimum of 5+ years in a supervisory or lead role.
• Hands-on estimating experience across multiple project phases required. Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Excel; SAP a plus.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain WBS/CBS structures.
• Lead capital cost estimates across project phases.
• Develop and maintain cost database and benchmarking library.
• Prepare estimate basis memoranda and contingencies; present to sponsors.
• Develop and baseline integrated project schedules using CPM; communicate critical path and risks.
• Prepare and maintain budgets and forecasts; track actuals vs. appropriation.
• Develop and maintain EVM system; report CPI, SPI, EAC, ETC to management.
