AlfaTech is seeking a Project Controls Manager to join the PM team in San Francisco. The role focuses on providing financial support to project managers to achieve project and program-level financial goals, including Earned Value Management and leadership of a project controls team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Project Controls.
• Minimum 5 years in leadership role (program-wide or firm-wide).
• Proficiency in MS Project and Deltek Vantagepoint.
• Familiarity with KPI dashboards.
• Familiarity with the design and construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Program-level project controls strategy and execution.
• Measure and report on execution progress; flag deviations from plan.
• Report on resource loading and utilization; identify constraints.
• Model scenarios; quantify impact of corrective actions.
• Provide data to support PM client discussions; present reports.
• Training and mentoring on Earned Value Management methodologies.
• Lead/mentor project controls team as needed.
• Collaborate with PMs and accounting on budgets, billing, and schedules.
• Track WIP, percent complete, backlog, and project profitability.
• Maintain project cost tracking and Prepare EAC analyses.
