Job summary

PMA is seeking a senior Project Controls professional to join the PMT at Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD). This role leads cost management, scheduling, forecasting, and reporting across all project phases, engaging with clients and stakeholders to optimize performance.

The position requires advanced project controls expertise, strong analytical abilities, and the capacity to manage complex programs independently while mentoring others and supporting business development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field.
• 5+ years in project controls, cost engineering, or scheduling.
• Experience with Primavera P6 scheduling software.
• Proficiency with cost management software and advanced Excel preferred.
• Certifications such as PMP, PSP, or PE are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement cost control processes, tools, and procedures; analyze variances and forecast impacts.
• Maintain EPC project schedules using Primavera P6 and apply earned value principles.
• Create and deliver cost and schedule reports for stakeholders; communicate performance trends and risks.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, clients, and stakeholders to align with budget and schedule objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement in project controls through process enhancements and knowledge sharing.
