Job summary

Terabase Energy, Inc. is seeking a Project Controls Engineer to design, configure, commission, and document plant control systems for utility-scale solar, storage, and hybrid projects.

You will work under guidance from senior engineers, applying knowledge of grid functionality and Utility/ISO standards. Approximately 90% of the role is project execution with up to 10% focused on continuous improvement and product development.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of IEC 61131-3/PLC programming experience, preferably in Codesys or AcSELerator environments.
• 2+ years of utility-scale renewable power plant controls experience (solar, BESS, or hybrid) with FAT/SAT exposure.

Responsibilities

• Execute controls design for utility-scale solar, BESS, and hybrid projects under guidance.
• Program and commission SEL controllers; develop control logic in IEC 61131-3.
• Document requirements, test results, and test environments for validation.
