Job summary

Terabase Energy, Inc. is seeking a Project Controls Engineer to support design, configuration, commissioning, and documentation of plant control systems for utility-scale solar, storage, and hybrid projects.

You will work under guidance of senior engineers on project execution. This role emphasizes hands-on controls development, including IEC 61131-3 programming, AcSELerator and Codesys, and delivering system architecture diagrams, narratives and manuals.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Control Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
3+ years of IEC 61131-3/PLC programming experience, preferably in Codesys or AcSELerator environment.
2+ years of utility-scale renewable power plant controls experience (solar, BESS, or hybrid) preferred, including exposure to FAT, commissioning and SAT.

Responsibilities

Execute controls design for utility-scale solar, BESS, and hybrid projects under guidance of senior engineers; review project scope for deviations from standard Terabase controls offerings.
Program and commission SEL controllers using AcSELerator; develop control logic in Codesys using IEC 61131-3 structured text and CFCs.
Follow the controls development process for project-specific work, including requirements documentation, logic development, testing in lab, and test result documentation.
