Job summary

KBR, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Controls Engineer for the Blue Grass Army Depot Energetics Center of Excellence explosives facility. The role focuses on cost control, scheduling, forecasting, performance measurement, and reporting within a regulated government environment.

The candidate will work with engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and operations teams to ensure safety, compliance, and efficient delivery of program objectives.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of lead project controls experience on large scale US government construction contracts.
• Experience developing integrated project schedules and cost forecasts for complex programs.
• Experience using Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and analyze integrated project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and metrics.
• Establish WBS, baselines, control accounts, and progress measurement systems.
• Perform cost control, variance analysis, EAC updates, and forecast assessments.
• Collect and integrate schedule, cost, earned value data for program insights.
• Prepare program performance reports and dashboards for leadership.
