Arquitectonica's New York office seeks an Intermediate Architect with 5-10 years of professional experience to join our design-focused team. The role covers design, documentation, and construction detailing on multifamily and mixed-use projects, with collaboration across disciplines in a fast-paced environment.

We offer a full-time, exempt position in our New York headquarters. Remote work is not offered, and relocation assistance is not provided.

Qualifications

• Professional accredited degree in Architecture.
• 5+ years of post-graduate professional experience.
• Experience with multifamily and mixed-use projects.
• Licensure or ARE progress expected within 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Understand design and documentation across all project stages.
• Develop, prepare and coordinate presentation and documentation materials.
• Produce construction documents and detail sketches.
• Generate and implement redlined revisions.
• Collaborate with project consultants.
• Analyze space planning and area calculations.
• Work independently and with the team to meet budgets and schedules.
• Participate in project team, client and contractor meetings.
• Communicate with the designated Project Manager.
