Job summary

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. is assisting an established architectural firm specializing in multifamily, mixed-use, student housing and commercial projects to hire an experienced Project Architect with about 10 years of practice.

Lead design development and construction documents, prepare highly detailed drawings, coordinate with engineers, mentor junior staff, and assist with construction administration. U.S. citizen or eligible to work legally is assumed for US posting.

Qualifications

• Approximately 10 years of architectural experience.
• Strong construction documentation and detailing skills.
• Experience with mid-rise multifamily projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of IBC and ADA codes.
• AIA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects through design development and construction documentation.
• Prepare highly detailed construction drawings, wall sections, building details, stairs, and elevator details.
• Coordinate architectural and engineering drawings.
• Oversee and mentor junior staff.
• Assist with limited construction administration.
