Job summary

NBBJ is seeking an experienced Project Architect to strengthen our Healthcare and Corporate practice in New York. The role focuses on key accounts, repeat clients, and complex interior projects from strategic tenant improvements to corporate campuses.

The successful candidate will bring architectural leadership, Revit/BIM fluency, code-aware detailing, and strong coordination with consultants and vendors to deliver high-quality interiors for corporate clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture, or related design field.
• Architectural licensure preferred; pursuing licensure considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise in executing projects from early design through construction administration.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, and contractors to communicate technical implications clearly.
• Develop design concepts into workable construction systems while maintaining design intent and code compliance.
• Lead documentation development, including drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Mentor team members on documentation standards, Revit workflows, and coordination.
