Axiom Path, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Architect to lead architectural design leadership and deliver technical project execution onsite in Columbia or Greenville, SC.

The role involves guiding complex projects from early design concepts through construction documentation, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and mentoring junior staff. The ideal candidate holds a professional architecture license, 17+ years of experience, and expert Revit/AutoCAD skills, with deep knowledge of codes

Qualifications

• 17+ years of architectural experience after graduation.
• Active professional architect license required.
• Experience leading complex projects through design to construction.
• Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD for documentation and coordination.
• Strong knowledge of building codes and standards.
• Ability to mentor junior staff and engage clients.
• Excellent client-facing communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness to onsite work in Columbia or Greenville and travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Lead technically demanding architectural projects from design through construction.
• Establish design approaches, technical specs, and documentation standards.
• Provide technical oversight and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP, and other disciplines.
• Develop innovative design solutions balancing budgets and client needs.
• Mentor developing architects and project staff.
• Support business development through client presentations.
• Improve internal design processes and standards.
• Provide QA/QC reviews across project deliverables.
