Job summary

Dolores Huerta is seeking a Senior Programs Director at our Bakersfield headquarters. This role supervises Program directors across Organizing, Civic, Youth, and Education streams and drives community initiatives and outreach.

You will oversee engagement with volunteers, partners, and policymakers, track outcomes, and prepare grant reports. Collaboration with the legislative team and advocacy planning are key components of this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level qualifications required or equivalent leadership experience.
• Proven ability to supervise senior program staff and drive program outcomes.
• Strong grant reporting and stakeholder communication skills.
• Experience coordinating with legislative teams and policymakers.
• Ability to build coalitions and mobilize community members for policy action.

Responsibilities
