Job summary
Peregrine Technical Solutions, LLC is seeking a Programmer Analyst IV to analyze, design, develop, and implement complex software solutions supporting enterprise-wide operations. This senior role partners with business users to define requirements, improve processes, and deliver innovative applications.
Responsibilities include leading projects, estimating effort, and coordinating schedules, with emphasis on NOAA Fisheries system activities.
Qualifications
- 8-10 years of progressively responsible experience in software development, programming, or systems analysis
- Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
Responsibilities
- Estimate effort and risks for NOAA Fisheries system modifications.
- Provide technical input to help government personnel prioritize issues for NOAA Fisheries objectives.
- Develop schedules and report progress on tasks.
- Attend meetings, take minutes, distribute agendas, and provide feedback on programming issues.
- Maintain the list of issues identified by developers/testers using NOAA Fisheries tools.
- Close issues and communicate blockers and progress to lead FTEs.
- Document fixes, features, and issues from regular operations and support.
- Develop or modify test plans; coordinate tests with testers; assist data owners with UAT; report results for approval.
