Job summary

Foundation Software in Strongsville, OH, is seeking a Senior Programmer/Analyst to participate in analysis, programming, testing, and debugging of our application, database, and reporting products.

The role requires 7+ years of PowerBuilder (PFC Framework) and SQL Server experience, a BS/MS in CS/CE, and strong problem solving and communication skills. C# or Delphi familiarity is a plus. We value collaboration with PMs, QA, and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of development experience in PowerBuilder including the PFC Framework.
• 7+ years of Microsoft SQL Server or another relational database.
• C# or Delphi experience helpful but not required.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Strong communication with internal cross-functional teams, leadership, and external clients.

Responsibilities

• Create functional program code to meet user requirements and quality standards.
• Debug the system and make necessary program design modifications.
• Collaborate with project managers, QA, and other team members.
• Attend planning and design meetings.
• Assist in troubleshooting the application.
• Mentor other developers as needed.
• Perform duties in a professional, responsive, and collaborative manner.
• Represent the company positively when assisting associates, clients and third parties.
• All other duties as assigned.

Position Summary

• Debug the system and make necessary program design modifications, as required.
• Collaborate with project managers, QA, and other team members.
• Attend planning and design meetings.
• Assist in troubleshooting the application.
• Mentor other developers as needed.
• Perform all duties in a professional, responsive, and collaborative manner with coworkers and supervisors.
• Project a positive, cooperative image as a representative of the company, providing assistance to associates, clients and other third parties whenever possible.
• All other duties as assigned.
