A well-established Puerto Rican company in the food production, packaging, and distribution industry is seeking a Senior Programmer to support the design, development, and optimization of enterprise-level applications.

This role plays a key part in maintaining and enhancing both internally developed (in‑house) platforms and Oracle-based systems, directly contributing to operational efficiency and technological advancement across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and break down complex technical processes into structured, scalable solutions.
• Develop and optimize Oracle databases and advanced SQL queries.
• Support integration, enhancement, and potential migration initiatives involving Cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Oracle Cloud, or similar).
• Maintain and enhance proprietary internal platforms.
• Apply best practices in coding standards, documentation, testing, and version control.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior developers when required.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to translate business needs into effective technical solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Programmer or Software Developer.
