Job summary

The Senior Program Manager for Special Projects at TASC’s Center for Health and Justice leads a portfolio of consulting, training, and technical assistance across CHJ’s Health, Justice, and Special Projects departments to advance public health and safety outcomes.

You will develop training content, coordinate with diverse partners, and support grant management while traveling nationwide to provide on-site and remote TA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public health, public policy, social work, criminology, business, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Experience in criminal justice programming, substance-use public health, or related field (3+ years).
• Experience providing consulting, training, and technical assistance.
• Experience with grants, budgets, and scopes of work.
• Strong written and verbal communication; public speaking comfort.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate with diverse partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of consulting, training, and TTA across Health, Justice, and Special Projects.
• Develop training content, webinars, toolkits, and publications.
• Coordinate with CHJ staff, consultants, and external partners to deliver high-quality deliverables.
• Support proposal development, scopes of work, budgets, and new business opportunities.
• Represent CHJ at national conferences, webinars, and stakeholder meetings.
• Engage federal, state, and nonprofit partners to identify experts and business leads.
• Develop processes for project documentation, narratives, budgets, and reporting.
• Support grant and contract management, including financial tracking and invoicing.
• Travel domestically for on-site and remote TTA and education; some evening/weekend hours.
