Empire State Development, LLC is seeking a Senior Program Manager in the Tax Incentives Department to oversee entertainment tax credit programs and communicate requirements to applicants. The role focuses on ensuring regulatory compliance and effective program administration in New York.

Responsibilities include auditing final applications and budgets, managing production data, analyzing economic factors, and coordinating with film studios and agencies while improving processes and maintaining

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in business, public administration, accounting, or another business-related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ direct experience in entertainment industry tax credit programs, or 4 years’ experience in entertainment industry production, accounting, or related professional services.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational and analytical abilities, and ability to manage multiple projects independently.

Responsabilités

• Audit final applications, ledgers, and related documents to ensure program compliance.
• Monitor and manage the flow of applications from entertainment production companies.
• Review complex budgets central to each application and analyze data for studies and reports.
• Maintain relationships with applicants and stakeholders, and coordinate meetings with production personnel.
• Assist with writing briefing memos, preparing complex spreadsheets, and improving processes and databases.
