Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to join our team and help manage a data center program. The ideal candidate will collaborate with client executive leadership and coordinate governance, reporting, and stakeholder engagement across multiple partners.

Responsibilities include developing detailed program plans, maintaining governance, and ensuring effective data sharing. Strong communication, 5+ years of experience, and familiarity with construction documentation

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of program management methods and best practices.
  • Knowledge of forecasting, budgeting, planning, scheduling, and scope management.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and contracts.
  • Ability to understand and follow site HSSE policies.
  • Proficiency with Mac OS and MS Office; familiarity with Project.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the client team in overseeing the established data center program and ensure alignment with the program goals and objectives.
  • Assist with maintaining and refreshing the program governance, processes and systems in line with client direction.
  • Ensure that key information and data is effectively shared and appropriately retained.
  • Build & maintain strong relationships with the client and team members.
  • Interface with multiple stakeholders, including executive management, program team members, general contractors, consultants and vendors.
  • Assist with the flow of program information between team members / stakeholders.
  • Attend relevant meetings, update and maintain issues/actions logs as current.
  • Development of detailed program plans, attendance at status meetings and follow-up with team members on completion status, close-out of open items.
  • Oversee and delegate on monthly reporting across various aspects of the Client's program.
  • Preparation of various reports for multiple audiences, including formal program management reports, executive dashboards and other reporting requirements.
  • Assist with the preparation of proposals for new programs or variations to existing programs.
  • SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.
  • Assist with contract management and seamless release of scope to maintain program schedules.

Job Description

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or field related to construction.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
  • A thorough knowledge of Program Management methods and best practices.
  • A thorough knowledge of forecasting, budgeting, planning, design, schedule and scope management
  • Have the technical skills to read, understand, and communicate contract requirements including construction drawings and specifications and interpret construction methods
  • Be able to understand and follow site HSSE Policies
  • Technology competent in using the following Software: Mac OS & MS office suite such as Outlook, Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint.
  • Competent user of data management software and systems for data management, analytics, and quality assurance
  • Strong communication and written skills
Additional Information

The salary range for this full-time role is $130K-$170K per year.Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package. Please note Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on candidate’s location, experience, and qualifications.
