Description AMZL ORBIT PMO is looking for a highly proficient and motivated Senior Program Manager to drive operational plans, long-term strategy, high volume events planning (Peak / Prime Week) and PMO workstreams closely partnering with cross-functional teams.

Description AMZL ORBIT PMO is looking for a highly proficient and motivated Senior Program Manager to drive operational plans, long-term strategy, high volume events planning (Peak / Prime Week) and PMO workstreams closely partnering with cross-functional teams.

The Senior Program Manager will play a pivotal role in leading strategic reviews such as OP1, Quarterly and Monthly Business Reviews with senior leaders. The Senior Program Manager will establish the right framework for program management, to identify the critical path, drive accountability and identify bottlenecks. In this role, they will also work with business stakeholders and Business Intelligence Engineers in building metrics to better measure performance across AMZL, and additional NA Operations business units where applicable. In this role, the Senior Program Manager will be detail-oriented, strive for excellence, and will leverage core program management and business analytics skills alongside experience in communication to drive high impact programs for the business. As a member of North America AMZL Supply Chain org, you will have the opportunity to partner with peer business teams such as AMZL Network Operations, NACF Operations, NA ATS Operations, Last Mile Tech, alongside stakeholders from Finance, Safety, Fleet and ACES, amongst many others. This position will work in a highly strategic and analytical role. The Senior Program Manager will be responsible to write strategic documents and influence large groups of senior stakeholders. This position must be able turn ambiguous problems into simple solutions. A successful candidate for this possesses superb business judgment, a high degree of customer-obsession, has a track record of delivering results, is strong on collaboration, and is data driven.

Key job responsibilities

• Manage delivery schedules and emergent tasks while mitigating risks, managing tradeoffs, and eliminating blockers
• Participate/collaborate in strategic planning meetings, surfacing and mitigating risks, driving strategic planning documentation, and identifying opportunity to create efficiencies
• Set and embody the strong team culture and standards consistent with Amazon’s leadership principals
• Drive alignment with leadership across internal AMZL teams and partner business teams in LMT, Fleet, Safety, ACES and PXT, among others

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of program or project management experience
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
• Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
• Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
• Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
