Job summary

Micron Technology is seeking a Senior Program Manager to drive operational excellence, governance, and execution across its AI Security organization. This role prioritizes roadmap management, executive reporting, and cross-functional coordination to align with leadership objectives.

The candidate will lead governance forums, manage risks, and deliver dashboards for the Deputy CSO and senior leaders. Strong partner management and AI/ML governance experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of program management experience, including 3+ years in a Senior, Lead, or Staff-level role.
  • Experience leading complex cross-functional programs with multiple units and dependencies.
  • Proven ability to develop and manage roadmaps, OKRs, risk registers, dependency tracking, and quarterly planning.
  • Experience presenting program status and strategic recommendations to executive audiences (VP/CSO).
  • Strong partner management skills to influence outcomes across organizations.

Responsibilities

The AI Security team is a newly established organization within Micron's Cyber Defense & Resilience (CDR) group, reporting to the Deputy CSO. We provide AI and automation expertise across multiple security functions, partnering with Security Operations, GRC, Third-Party Risk, Security Awareness, and Security Architecture teams to strengthen cybersecurity capabilities across a global enterprise supporting 50,000+ employees and 100,000+ devices!

Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Program Manager to drive operational excellence, governance, and execution across Micron's AI Security organization! This individual will serve as the strategic program leader responsible for roadmap management, executive reporting, collaborator alignment, and cross-functional coordination, ensuring AI Security initiatives remain aligned with organizational priorities and leadership objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Own and manage the quarterly AI Security roadmap, including intake, prioritization, governance, publication, and execution tracking.
  • Lead roadmap governance forums and facilitate priority planning sessions with security sub-tower leaders and key partners.
  • Develop and deliver executive-level reporting, dashboards, and status updates for the Deputy CSO and senior leadership teams.
  • Manage cross-functional dependencies, program risks, and issue resolution across multiple security organizations.
  • Build and maintain strong partner relationships across Security Operations, GRC, Third-Party Risk, Security Awareness, and Security Architecture teams.
  • Design, implement, and monitor program performance metrics, including roadmap health, delivery velocity, partner engagement, and business outcomes.
  • Establish and optimize operating rhythms, including planning sessions, reviews, retrospectives, and continuous improvement processes while using AI-enabled solutions to improve program effectiveness.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of program management experience, including 3+ years in a Senior, Lead, or Staff-level program management role.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex cross-functional programs involving multiple business units, partners, and dependencies.
  • Proven ability to develop and manage program roadmaps, OKRs, risk registers, dependency tracking, and quarterly planning processes.
  • Experience presenting program status, risks, and strategic recommendations to executive-level audiences, including VP, CSO, or equivalent leadership levels.
  • Strong partner management skills with a track record of influencing outcomes and resolving competing priorities across organizations.
  • Experience developing executive dashboards, performance metrics, and governance frameworks to drive program transparency and accountability.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 7+ years of program or portfolio management experience within cybersecurity, technology, or enterprise transformation organizations.
  • Experience supporting cybersecurity functions such as Security Operations, Security Engineering, Governance Risk & Compliance, or Security Architecture.
  • Familiarity with AI and machine learning product development lifecycles, delivery methodologies, and governance frameworks.
  • Experience managing large-scale enterprise initiatives involving multiple teams, shared services organizations, and distributed collaborators.
  • Prior experience partnering with an AI Center of Excellence, enterprise governance program, or digital transformation office.
  • Knowledge of agile program management methodologies and enterprise planning frameworks, including OKRs and portfolio management practices.
  • Experience within semiconductor, manufacturing, or other highly regulated enterprise environments is preferred.
