Job summary

HNTB Corporation in the United States seeks a senior PMC leader to manage end-to-end project management services for major programs. You will act as the client’s agent across strategic planning, delivery, financing, procurement, risk, and construction management, with accountability for staffing and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
• 15 years relevant PMC experience or program management leadership.
• PE license and advanced degree preferred for senior levels.

Responsibilities

• Acts as the client’s agent in delivering complex PMC services for key clients across planning, delivery, financing, procurement, risk, controls, construction, closeout and operations/maintenance.
• Resolves issues of significant financial impact and manages client risk.
• Identifies opportunities to expand HNTB’s PMC presence and revenue with national client connections.
• Develops staff staffing plans and oversees project managers and subcontractors.

With our historic growth, it is an exciting time to join our team of employee-owners.This opportunity entails being responsible for the effective and profitable management and delivery of end-to-end PMC services for a key client, a complex program, or program or combination of programs with a program value of >=$1B.What You’ll Do:Acts as the client’s agent in delivering complex PMC services for key clients in the areas of strategic planning, alternative delivery, innovative financing, procurement/contract management, risk management, project controls, quality management, construction management, project closeout and acceptance, and operations/maintenance.Routinely resolves difficult issues of significant financial impact, assessing and managing risk on behalf of the client.Identifies opportunities to advance HNTB’s presence and revenue opportunity in the PMC space, leveraging nationally acknowledged reputation to pursue and land those opportunities.Nationally well-known expert in their respective industry with well-established strong client connections. Represents HNTB with state and national industry organizations.Interacts with executive level government or public officials and/or executive level clients on advanced program matters often requiring coordination between organizations.Responsible for defining staffing needs for the delivery of services, providing direction and oversight to Project Managers, other staff, client staff and subcontractors.Has an awareness and understanding of the political environment and sensitivities in which a program is being delivered.Able to lead HNTB team in understanding client perspectives and vision of success while keeping staff connected to firm culture and organization.Develops a deep understanding of full range of HNTB services and firm-wide resources.Leads the development of client service action plans and client project reviews.Performs other duties as assigned.What You’ll Need:Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline15 years relevant experienceWhat We Prefer:Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline20 years heavy civil transportation experience with a combination of a) proven program mgmt. and/or senior PMC role, b) managing or leading a team in successful delivery of PMC projects, c) construction managementPE requiredFamiliarity with alternative delivery a significant plusUnderground project experience a plusAdditional InformationClick here for benefits information: HNTB Total RewardsClick here to learn more about Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/VeteranVisa sponsorship is available for this position.#NF.Locations:San Jose, CA..The approximate pay range for the California San Francisco Bay Area is $298,549.19 - $476,903.24.
