Position Overview

Autodesk is looking for an outstanding Program Manager to join our Lifecycle Experience Engineering and Product (LEEP) organization. This fast-moving group is focused on building and enhancing systems and tools that are loved by the people that use them. We sit at the intersection of technology and the business, making sure we deliver to Sales, Finance, Marketing and more the capabilities they need to succeed. The Briefing and Intelligence Office is a newly established function under the Chief of Staff, built to give leadership and stakeholders a clear, consistent view of our portfolio, so they always know where things stand, if there is risk and where their help is needed. You’ll take technical jargon and complexity and turn it into narratives anyone can follow, from individual contributor to executive. This is a storytelling role, requiring disciplined program management. You’ll need the discipline to own a repeatable cadence, and the craft to make the reporting something people want to read. You can work across a wide variety of people and roles to know which content to pull in, when to leverage or direct to existing content, ask the right questions and walk out with a narrative. We’re looking for a self-starter, who can build out the cadences, templates, mediums and then evolve the offerings. You won’t need to be a technical expert in the room, but experience working with Product Managers, and Developers on back-end systems is an asset.

Responsibilities
  • Own end-to-end reporting for LEEP, building a repeatable cadence our stakeholders can rely on, so they consistently know the status of the portfolio without having to chase it down or scan through multiple communications. Stakeholders include Finance, Sales, Marketing, Operations and more
  • Assess what needs to be communicated each week, translating the update into clear, concise briefings for executives and individual contributors alike.
  • Work closely across our organization to collect, refine and align our weekly report with the leadership team, ensuring appropriate agreement and approvals are in place
  • Build and maintain a single source of truth narrative for the portfolio status; what’s on track, what’s at risk, when rollouts are expected, decisions that need to be made, what has been reprioritized and where stakeholders need to step in
  • Evolve and refine reporting formats, leveraging AI to support your work
  • Create a feedback loop to capture misalignment and gaps in information and flag risks and escalations early
  • Support other programs across the Chief of Staff’s team, as capacity allows
  • Help plan and prepare content for all-hands meetings, leadership offsites, speaking engagements and more
Minimum Qualifications
  • You have 5+ years’ experience managing reporting and communications across a wide portfolio of projects and programs from start to finish in a technical or engineering adjacent environment
  • Strong communications skills
  • You can craft diverse messaging across various mediums, like email, PowerPoint, SharePoint, video
  • Eager to learn and leverage AI to automate and enhance your deliverables
  • Highly adept at all O365 tools, especially PowerPoint and MS Teams / SharePoint. Working proficiency with Jira and Confluence and can learn AirTable
  • Ability to target individuals, teams, or leaders with concisely formatted emails, crisp and engaging slides or videos
  • You possess high emotional intelligence and know how to manage sensitive information in confidence and with discretion
The Ideal Candidate
  • You put the health of your teams first, and business priorities a close second
  • You are great at building collaborative relationships up, down, and sideways
  • You have a passion for understanding data and the story it is telling or the problem to be solved
  • You want to influence the course of business: You’re fearlessly able to articulate a clear approach that will effectively capture stakeholders’ attention and compel action and you regularly seek constructive feedback that helps you grow and evolve
  • You thrive on change: You adapt to the environment around you. Where others see a threat to the status quo, you see an opportunity to innovate and get ahead of the curve. More than that, you want to be the person who sparks change in the way we get the job done
