Job summary

C2 ALASKA LLC in Wright-Patterson AFB, OH is seeking a Program Manager Senior RQH to provide functional and strategic support, oversee operations and business functions for AFRL’s Aerospace Systems Directorate and related programs.

The role requires extensive DoD program management experience, lifecycle oversight, risk management, and the ability to coordinate across government leads, contractors, and partners to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery of advanced aerospace technologies.

Qualifications

• Experience performing lifecycle tasks associated with contract acquisition, management, and closeout.
• Knowledge in providing analysis and project management support.
• Knowledge in program management philosophy, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Apply full range of program management philosophies, policies, and procedures to perform a wide range of acquisition management activities.
• Support Government leads with program management lifecycle requirements, subsystems, and equipment.
• Support strategic scheduling and planning efforts and utilize a variety of systems to track, manage, and report efforts.
• Provide technical support, coordination, and planning for integrated program reviews and conferences.
• Assist in planning, organizing, and managing critical aspects of the development, production, and/or deployment of capabilities, systems, subsystems, and equipment.
• Assist with development of policies and procedures for enterprise or organization-based instructions and guidance.
• Independent review and assessment of R&D contract cost, schedule, and performance.
• Identify risks and risk mitigation plans.
• Develop and implement Capability-Based Planning processes for Air Force Material Command.
• Other duties as assigned

• Minimum five (5) years’ experience with the DoD


• Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science Degree


• Minimum fifteen (15) years’ related work experience


• Minimum five (5) years’ experience with the DoD


• Minimum twenty (20) years related work experience


• Minimum eight (8) years’ experience with the DoD

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Experience performing lifecycle tasks associated with contract acquisition, management, and closeout.


• Knowledge in providing analysis and project management support.


• Knowledge in program management philosophy, policies, and procedures to perform a wide range of acquisition management activities.


• Experience in forecasting and making recommendations of funding changes, interim status, and overall results.
