Job description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager – Engineering to lead cross-functional teams in the execution of projects focused on remediation of on-market products to Global State-of-the-Art standards. This role is responsible for coordinating all aspects of assigned programs, driving corrective actions and solutions, and ensuring alignment with regulatory, quality, cost, and schedule objectives.

The successful candidate will apply project management best practices, tools, and methodologies to meet or exceed stakeholder expectations while establishing strong working relationships and credibility across engineering, quality, regulatory, operations, and vendor teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead small to medium-sized programs with measurable impact on business objectives.
  • Establish and manage multidisciplinary, cross-functional teams, including globally distributed resources, to sustain Front Line Care products to State-of-the-Art standards.
  • Collaborate with functional leaders, project managers, internal customers, and stakeholders to develop and execute robust project plans in accordance with established policies and processes.
  • Assign tasks, roles, responsibilities, and accountability to ensure successful project and product outcomes.
  • Drive achievement of product quality targets, time-to-market objectives, and cost goals.
  • Manage labor, expense, and capital budgets aligned with project requirements.
  • Monitor project and product status, identify risks and variances, and apply appropriate change management and mitigation strategies.
  • Develop and maintain RACI charts, project metrics, dashboards, and status reports.
  • Manage external vendors and partners; provide guidance to project teams and communicate progress and risks to senior leadership.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • 5–7 years of project or program management experience, preferably leading new product development or remediation projects with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence, motivate, and align diverse teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to balance technical, regulatory, and commercial priorities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Applied knowledge of EU MDR and other international medical device regulatory requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
  • Experience supporting medical device product sustainment or remediation programs.
  • Experience working in regulated environments with global stakeholders.
