Responsibilities

• Offers guidance, provides project milestones, communications, and facilitation to cross-functional team for engineering projects.
• Tracks, monitors, and manages projects through the Product Life Cycle using relevant methodologies.
• Manages internal and external supplier relationships to ensure milestones stay within defined budget.
• Collects prototype submissions and new launch production documentation from internal and external suppliers.
• Vets customer prototype and production submissions through the Quality department.
• Coordinates with Product Engineering, Quality, and Metrology during prototype kick-off to determine equipment measurements, techniques, and product layout.
• Identifies and manages the resolution of deviations from the quote/contract or defined project agreement, while determining risks.
• Ensures the product is launched on-time, at or under budget, and with consideration to material cost.
• Serves as primary interface to the customer, with support from the cross-functional team, through providing updates and tracking reports.
• Communicates variances in project budgets, plans, and schedules with Product Marketing and Management.
