Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Program Manager to own cross-functional NPI planning and delivery in the Gas Power business. You will collaborate with Product Managers and Engineering Platform Managers to shape product strategies, develop plans, and champion New Product Introduction and Product Cost Out.

The role emphasizes driving performance dashboards, financial management, and coordination across engineering, manufacturing, and operations to improve processes and metrics.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of experience in program management, engineering, manufacturing, operations, or related technical environments.

Responsibilities

• Integrated NPI Plans: Create and actively manage cross functional bottoming cycle development schedules, resources, and budgets that meet company objectives with continued refinement throughout the effort. Have situational awareness to see around corners on things that impact delivery.
• NPI Excellence: Reduce unexpected surprises by ensuring a) robust design requirements and interface definition, b) transparency with dashboards, schedules in PLM, and trade off options when something does change. Report status to senior management in a clear and concise manner. 100% accountable for on time, on budget.
• NPI Financial Management: Be the focal point for business rhythms … Session II, Year-End Estimates, weekly VP EI reviews, etc. Work hand-in-hand with Finance and Operations to actively manage budgetary risks and opportunities through the year.
• Deliver a strong ROI on corporate development investments.
• Support Strategy and Communication: Support Platform Managers to develop MGPP and MGTP, set and clearly communicate strategic direction to engineering teams.
• Support Program Execution: Support System Integration Leaders to execute NPI programs working collaboratively across engineering organizations.. Ensure the application of the NPI Process and coordinate the organization of Technical Reviews together with the Chief Engineers Office.
• Improve Work Processes: Collaboratively work across organizations (manufacturing, services, engineering, product management) to improve processes, role clarity, and tools to improve speed and effectiveness.

This is an exciting opportunity to be at center of business operations and portfolio management for state-of-the-art new product development in GEV Gas Power Business. This is a highly visible role: In coordination with the Product Managers and the Engineering Platform Managers, the Program Manager will help develop and execute product strategies; create development plans; and be a visible champion for New Product Introduction and Product Cost Out. You will drive initiatives to improve the effectiveness of the Engineering function and interfaces with other functions to provide effective coordination of metrics, dashboards, functional processes, and cross-functional initiatives. You will have impact on approaches, projects and programs in the functional area or affected business organization and ways of working.

Relocation Assistance Provided: Yes

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $113,200.00 and $188,800.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
