Job summary

United Launch Alliance seeks a Program Control Leader to join the Finance organization, supervising cost, schedule and program control analysts for budgeting, EAC, risk, and schedule integration. The role partners with engineering, production, and launch ops to optimize cost and schedule performance.

The ideal candidate brings strategic thinking, earned value expertise, and strong communication across teams, with a track record of disciplined execution in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, plus 4 years of people leadership.
• Excellent communication across management levels and customer groups.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in EVM tools or accounting systems (Deltek OPP, Cobra, SAP).
• Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Lead a Cost, Schedule and Program Control team for budgets and reporting.
• Collaborate with contracts, estimating, FP&A, engineering, and operations.
• Act as strategic business partner to engineering, production, and launch ops.
• Maintain communication with leadership and external customers.
• Oversee long-range planning, forecasting, EAC, and earned value management.
• Ensure execution within budgets, EACs, and contractual terms.
• Drive cost-transformation initiatives supporting enterprise goals.
• Select, develop, and evaluate program control personnel.
• Ensure master plans and schedules are followed to deliver on time and on budget.
