Job summary

Lift Technologies Inc. is seeking a skilled welder/fabricator to safely weld, cut and burn steel; operate robotic welding equipment and read technical drawings. The role requires a strong quality mindset, ability to train others and maintain equipment per standard work instructions.

Experience with AWS D1.1 and D14.1 tests is required. You will coordinate with production schedules, use BAAN for MRP tasks, and operate cranes and forklifts as needed, while ensuring documentation and safety

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum 5 years welding experience or welding school completion.
Successful completion of AWS style written test.
Successful completion of AWS D1.1 and D14.1 weld tests.

Responsibilities

Safely fabricate weldments by cutting, burning and MIG welding to quality specs.
Set up and modify programs for robotic welding operations.
Perform set-up inspections for others in the department.
Follow work instructions, procedures and safety rules during welding tasks.
Read and follow production schedules and gather equipment for welding tasks.
Provide training and support to other team members as needed.
Operate MRP system (BAAN) as required.
Operate overhead cranes and fork trucks safely.
Complete production documentation accurately and neatly.
Perform daily pre- and post-shift duties and maintain a clean workspace.
Perform other duties as assigned.
