Great American Insurance Group is seeking an experienced Senior Production Underwriter to underwrite Excess Liability and Lead Umbrella business with emphasis on profitable growth. The position requires strong underwriting discipline, market awareness, and collaboration with internal partners to deliver exceptional customer service. On-site four days a week with one remote day.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Casualty underwriting experience: Senior Production Underwriter 5-7 years
• Casualty underwriting experience: Production Underwriting Specialist 7-9 years
• Casualty underwriting experience: Senior Production Underwriting Specialist 10+ years
• Excess Casualty and Umbrella underwriting experience strongly preferred.
• Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to travel as needed (typically less than 10% overnight).
