Job summary

Entegris in Reno is seeking a Senior Production Supervisor for the night shift to lead our night‑shift manufacturing operations, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and productivity while developing and coaching a frontline team.

You will monitor production KPIs, address schedule adherence issues, and drive Continuous Improvement using Lean, 5S, and root‑cause analysis, collaborating with Planning, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance and Supply Chain.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of direct people management experience.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Operations Management, Manufacturing, Business, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience leading CI projects with measurable results.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop night-shift production personnel, including hiring, training, performance management, coaching, and corrective action.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, operating procedures, and company policies while promoting accountability.
• Manage daily production priorities, staffing, and resources to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity targets.
• Monitor production KPIs and address issues affecting schedule adherence, quality, labor efficiency, and customer commitments.
• Lead CI initiatives using Lean, 5S, root-cause analysis, and structured problem-solving methods.
• Partner with Planning, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and other Operations teams to resolve constraints and improve performance.
• Support quality and safety investigations, corrective actions, process improvements, equipment implementation, and projects.
• Maintain effective handoffs between day and night shifts and use SAP for work orders and materials.

Senior Production Supervisor (Night Shift)

Entegris is seeking a Senior Production Supervisor, Night Shift, to join our Operations team at our Reno facility. This role leads night-shift manufacturing operations with responsibility for safety, quality, delivery, productivity, employee development, and continuous improvement. The Senior Production Supervisor will provide hands‑on leadership to production teams, drive accountability, and partner cross‑functionally to ensure customer and business objectives are achieved.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and develop night-shift production personnel, including hiring, training, performance management, coaching, and corrective action.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, operating procedures, and company policies while promoting a strong culture of accountability.
• Manage daily production priorities, staffing, and resources to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity targets.
• Monitor production KPIs and proactively address issues affecting schedule adherence, quality, labor efficiency, and customer commitments.
• Lead Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives using Lean, 5S, root‑cause analysis, and structured problem‑solving methods.
• Partner with Planning, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and other Operations teams to resolve production constraints and improve performance.
• Support quality and safety investigations, corrective actions, process improvements, equipment implementation, and manufacturing projects.
• Maintain effective communication and shift handoffs between day and night‑shift operations.
• Use SAP or similar ERP/MRP systems to manage and monitor production activity, work orders, materials, and manufacturing requirements.
• Use Microsoft Office applications to analyze data, track performance, communicate priorities, and manage operational activities.
• Develop employees through coaching, cross‑training, performance feedback, and career development.
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and efficient production environment.
• Support the Operations Manager in achieving site production, budget, customer delivery, and operational objectives.

What We Seek

• 5+ years of direct people management experience leading manufacturing and production teams.
• Demonstrated experience managing employee performance, staffing, training, development, and accountability.
• Proven experience leading Continuous Improvement projects with measurable operational results.
• Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing, 5S, root‑cause analysis, corrective action, and process improvement.
• Experience managing manufacturing KPIs related to safety, quality, delivery, productivity, labor efficiency, and schedule adherence.
• Highly proficient Microsoft Office and strong working knowledge of SAP or a comparable ERP/MRP/manufacturing system.
• Experience working cross‑functionally with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Planning, Supply Chain, and Operations.
• Strong leadership, communication, conflict‑management, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to make sound decisions and manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
• Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other Continuous Improvement experience.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Operations Management, Manufacturing, Business, or a related field preferred, or equivalent manufacturing leadership experience.
• Must be available to work the assigned night‑shift schedule and provide additional shift coverage as business needs require.
