Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a production supervisor to oversee daily production activities within an industrial laundry environment. You will ensure safety policies are followed, manage a small team, and drive efficiency to meet production goals.

The role requires experience in a loud, fast-paced setting, with a focus on quality and adherence to procedures. You will train staff and participate in meetings to support continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Capability to work safely and conscientiously in a fast paced, loud work environment with machinery.
• Proven record of work attendance.
• Capability of reading and understanding work instructions in English.
• Basic Math reasoning skills.
• Lifting ability up to 50 pounds; Push/Pull ability up to 300 pounds assisted.

Responsibilities

• Oversee assigned area of production responsibility in a safe and efficient manner.
• Monitor work activities to ensure safety policies and work rules are followed.
• Train new and existing employees on safe production practices and company policies.
• Attend departmental and market center meetings to engage and complete education and training.
• Develop and maintain positive employee relations and apply policies consistently.
• Identify and recommend production improvements for equipment and worker performance.
