Job summary

eMoney Advisor is seeking an experienced Advisory Database Administrator to support the SQL Database environment in a 24/7/365 production-centric setup. You will lead the DBA team, oversee maintenance, and drive optimization, automation, and disaster recovery efforts across the Production environment.

The role requires 8+ years of experience and 5+ years as a SQL Server Administrator, with a strong focus on high availability and performance tuning.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required or preferred.
8+ years of relevant work experience in DBA roles.
5+ years of SQL Server Administrator experience required.

Responsibilities

Lead DBA team initiatives focused on enterprise-level enhancements and Production availability.
Oversee daily maintenance with after-hours support and provide mentorship.
Apply data modeling to support development, integration, and performance goals.
Analyze and resolve issues in real time with end-to-end problem resolution.
Provide expertise on automation, scripting, job scheduling, capacity management, and virtualization.
Install and configure database software; proactively detect and respond to issues.
Monitor and optimize query performance and server health.
Manage backup and recovery with focus on Production security and high availability.
Advise management on database concepts and capabilities.
Mentor junior DBAs in database administration activities.
