Responsibilities

• Lead the most complex, large, or difficult production projects to produce schedules and plans and estimate the human resources, tools, equipment needed to manufacture products.
• Contribute to the development of operating budgets for the production unit.
• Research, evaluate, and recommend changes to production processes, systems, technology, capital, equipment, or other assets to enhance production capabilities.
• Liaise with production, supply and logistics, maintenance, engineering, purchasing, or HR managers to integrate activities into plans, cost estimates, and schedules.
• Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop production planning staff to ensure targets are met.
