Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Production Manager to lead frontline production operations for our imaging hardware platforms in a high-volume setting.

You will manage a team of technicians, drive daily production goals, and ensure quality and safety standards are met while mentoring staff and guiding continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.

Qualifications

• 7+ years experience in high-volume, complex electro-mechanical production.
• 3+ years in a senior production management role.
• Experience with ERP and MES systems; knowledge of NPI, Lean manufacturing and ECOs.

ABOUT THE JOB

The Senior Production Manager role requires both frontline technical and people management skills, placing you at the forefront of fostering team development and overseeing day-to-day delivery operations for our complex hardware platforms. Success in this pivotal position demands consistent achievement across team management, operations, and financial goals, ensuring the delivery of world-class, mission-critical products.
WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Lead Production Operations:Oversee the production of a product line, managing a team of talented technicians to ensure efficient production and delivery of imaging hardware.
• Drive Daily Production Goals:Strategically manage a production plan which solves for the desired production performance outcomes. Tactically direct daily operations to meet target on-time delivery goals.
• ChampionQuality & Safety:Ensure quality and safety standards are followed, minimizing defects and fostering a safe working environment.
• Develop & Mentor Talent:Actively coach, mentor, and support production technicians, fostering professional growth and cross-training within the team.
• Lead Continuous Improvement:Implement 5S and other continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and optimize workflows.
• Strategic Communication:Effectively communicate priorities, production progress, risks, and resource needs to senior leadership and facilitate cross-functional collaboration.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 7+ years experience in high-volume, complex electro-mechanical production, with 3+ years in a senior production management role.
• Proven expertise with ERP and MES systems, coupled with a deep understanding of NPI, Lean manufacturing, and change management (ECOs).
• Ability to interpret complex technical documentation (drawings, schematics, WIs) and troubleshoot processes and equipment.
• Demonstrated success in employee development, coaching, and mentorship.
• Exceptional verbal & written communication skills, highly organized, and detail-oriented.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance

US Salary Range

$167,000 - $220,000 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
