Job summary

Harvey is hiring a Production Engineer to build and operate core compute, networking, and Kubernetes platforms that power its AI-driven products. You’ll work on scalable, secure infrastructure, partnering with engineering, security, and platform teams to enable rapid delivery and resilient services.

You will lead initiatives, optimize capacity, and drive observability, incident response, and automation, ensuring availability and cost efficiency at scale.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software, infra, site reliability or production engineering.
• Extensive experience building and operating large-scale cloud infra.
• Hands-on Kubernetes in production and cluster lifecycle management.
• Distributed systems with strong reliability and performance.
• IaC using Terraform or Pulumi and automation tooling.
• Security, IAM, network isolation, and compliance practices.
• Observability via monitoring, logging, alerts, and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate the production infrastructure powering Harvey’s products and AI workloads.
• Lead technical direction across compute, networking, Kubernetes, and orchestration.
• Drive cross-functional initiatives to improve reliability, scale, security, and efficiency.
• Collaborate with Product Engineering, Security, AI Infrastructure, and Platform teams to translate requirements into solutions.
• Create reusable patterns and tooling to help teams ship and operate services safely.
• Raise engineering bar with design reviews, documentation, and mentorship.
