Job summary

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in oil and gas production accounting, advanced Excel skills, and strong communication abilities to support budgeting, forecasting, and compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of oil and gas production accounting.
• Familiarity with production systems required.
• Experience with Cygnet, FlowCal, PRAMS, or Quorum preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and lookups.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Daily analysis and reporting of production; identify anomalies and coordinate with field personnel.
• Monthly analysis and reconciliation of production; compare to third-party statements and trends.
• Coordinate with field measurement and reporting teams on monthly state reporting for accuracy.
• Collaborate with Revenue, JIB, Costs, and Financial Reporting to ensure accurate production data.
• Establish and maintain formalized production accounting policies and procedures.
• Assist budgeting, forecasting, reserves reporting, and integration activities.
