Job summary

Ameriprise Financial is seeking a Senior Product Specialist within Wealth Management Solutions to help develop, deliver, and support advisory products and programs. You will participate in client experience initiatives to grow assets and revenue while driving cost savings.

Responsibilities include supporting advisor/client experiences, analyzing data, and contributing to new product requirements and profitability improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in Financial Services, preferably product development/management.
• Strong analytical and data-driven problem-solving skills to identify trends.
• Advisor or customer service experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office data analytic tool sets.

Job Description

The Senior Product Specialist within Wealth Management Solutions (WMS) will participate in the development, delivery, and support of advisory products/programs. Assist in the Ameriprise Client Experience initiatives in advisory business that grows assets, increases net flows, drives revenue generation, and implements cost/expense saves.

Key Responsibilities

• Supports the development of the Advisor/Client Experience across the advisory platform.
• Completes analysis and makes research-based recommendations to improve product features, sales, marketing, processes, and procedures.
• Contributes to the requirements and delivery of new products and services to enhance the client and advisor experience, increase ease of use, meet competitive evolution in the marketplace and/or improve profitability.
• Actively identifies opportunities to recommend, develop and build competitor analysis capabilities for the organization.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business or other related degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in Financial Services industry, preferably product development and/or product management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills using data to identify trends and issues and potential ways to solve the issue.
• Advisor or customer service experience.
• Proficient skill level in Microsoft Office data analytic tool sets.

Preferred Qualifications

• Desire to obtain FINRA Series 7 license.
• Knowledge of Advisory platforms and solutions
• Project management experience preferred.

Our employees work in the office at least four (4) days per week, with flexibility to work from home one (1) day per week. Some roles may require additional in-office time or different in-office expectations, and specific requirements will be discussed during the hiring process.

Base Pay Salary

The estimated base salary for this role is $71,300 - $98,100 / year. We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role.
