Job summary

ClickHouse is seeking an experienced security practitioner to join the Security Team. You will drive modern security processes, support engineering and product teams, and improve the security posture of ClickHouse Cloud and OSS.

The role emphasizes threat modeling, secure implementation, and automation, with remote-friendly options and opportunities to work across across our distributed environment. Responsibilities include vulnerability triage, security assurance activities, and shaping

Qualifications

• Experience performing threat assessments and assurance activities across distributed systems.
• Knowledge of cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) and Kubernetes/Cilium.
• Experience with engineering security tooling and processes (static/dynamic analysis, SBOM, OWASP SAMM).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering and product to improve security features with threat modeling and secure implementation.
• Identify security gaps in ClickHouse Cloud and OSS; triage vulnerabilities from bug bounty programs and reports.
• Improve security assurance activities such as pentests, vulnerability assessments, and fuzzing.
• Lead the use of security tools like static/dynamic analysis, dependency checks, and code licensing compliance.
• Foster strong security relationships with engineering; drive process and technology improvements.
• Handle information security events across ClickHouse products and services.
• Develop automation to scale security processes and mitigate business risks.
