Lambda Inc. is hiring a Senior Security Engineer focused on Product Security. You will threat model, review designs, and ensure security across infrastructure and code, working with Product Engineering and Data Center Ops. You’ll lead vulnerability management and build secure-by-default patterns.

You’ll collaborate with GRC, Detection & Response, and engineering teams while enhancing security tooling with Python or Go, and mentoring engineers to improve secure design practices.

Formación

• 5+ years of demonstrated security engineering experience, either as a security engineer or driving security outcomes as an SRE/DevOps.
• Demonstrated depth in infrastructure security or application security, with design reviews or threat models adopted by teams.
• A track record of independently owning security work end to end and knowing when to escalate.
• Thrives in high-speed startup environments where priorities shift.
• Strong hands-on Linux experience in bare metal and cloud environments.
• Reads application code and IaC fluently to explain vulnerability root causes.
• Ships production-grade tooling in Python or Go, not just scripts.
• Translates security risk into business impact for engineers and leadership.

Responsabilidades

• Review designs and threat models for systems in your area and deliver actionable recommendations.
• Secure multi-tenant infrastructure by hardening network, cluster, and infra layers.
• Find and fix vulnerabilities in code and infrastructure as code.
• Run vulnerability management as a program and drive remediation to SLAs.
• Develop security patterns, reference architectures, and guardrails for teams.
• Enable enterprise deals by partnering with GRC on security reviews.
• Build security tooling using Python or Go and Lambda-hosted tools.
• Collaborate with Product Engineering, Data Center Ops, Detection & Response.
• Coach engineers to build secure design instincts and mentor teammates.
• Balance long-term fixes with pragmatic, progress-driven approaches.
