Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
• 2+ years of software development in avionics or real-time embedded systems / firmware design using C/C++, Ada, and/or Java
• Ability to develop code for usability, readability, and maintainability.
• Experience in Ada coding for safety critical systems
• Experience with embedded software in C/C++

Responsibilities

• Supports the development of documents and maintains architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software systems
• Support and be accountable to program engineering leads in day-to-day task activities, accomplishments, issues, and concerns.
• Highly motivated and exhibit strong written and verbal communication, inter-personal, and problem solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and effectively with external customers and subcontractors in a multi-site and multi-discipline program and environment.
