Job summary

CHAOS Industries is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer focused on Product Security to help design, assess, and secure sensor platforms and supporting software ecosystems. You will collaborate with Software, Embedded, Hardware, and Infrastructure teams to embed security across the product lifecycle from architecture to deployment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in cybersecurity engineering, experience with threat modeling, risk assessments, and compliance frameworks such as RMF, NIST, and DFARS.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of cybersecurity engineering or related roles.
• Experience securing software and hardware in regulated environments.
• Experience with threat modeling and risk assessments.
• Familiarity with SSDLC and security standards (RMF, NIST).

Responsibilities

• Lead security architecture for software and hardware platforms.
• Perform threat modeling and cybersecurity risk assessments.
• Support RMF/ATO processes and security documentation.
• Coordinate vulnerability remediation and security testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed security.
