Job summary

Datadog is seeking a security-focused leader for Bits Code, a cloud coding agent. You will own security architecture from design to production, shaping tooling, processes, and culture to minimize risk while delivering features quickly.

You will collaborate with engineering, product, infrastructure, and security teams to identify risks, build threat models, and guide secure software practices at scale. This hybrid role involves on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in CS or related field, or 5+ years in product/security.
• Experience securing systems across trust boundaries.
• Experience building and operating full stack systems at scale.
• Familiar with security risks in agentic systems and designing against them.
• Pragmatic security trade-offs.

Responsibilities

• Own the security architecture and implementation of Bits Code from early design through production operation.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, infrastructure, and security teams to identify risks and shape the product.
• Build threat models for new and existing agent risks such as prompt injection.
• Help the team ship secure software fast by writing and maintaining core libraries, and guiding processes and culture.
• Work with sandbox teams on how Bits Code executes untrusted workloads.
• Be on call. Datadog culture is that you build it, you run it.
