What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Serve as the primary contact for a high-impact product line, cultivating and managing strong customer relationships
- Utilize advanced sales and negotiation techniques to engage with high-value customers and drive market expansion
- Achieve and exceed sales targets while contributing significantly to revenue growth
- Support clients using Rowan software for patent preparation and prosecution, leading best practices for product deployment
- Provide sales insights and market feedback to senior leadership and collaborate with product teams on future enhancements
What is Required (Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant work experience
- Minimum of 7+ years of professional work experience in sales and/or intellectual property
- At least 3+ years of IP experience related to patent drafting work
- Proven track record of successfully selling into law firms and/or corporate legal teams
- In-depth knowledge of USPTO patent filing requirements
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Past work experience as a Patent Attorney
- Familiarity with advanced sales techniques and customer engagement strategies
- Experience in driving software adoption in legal environments
