Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned Product Manager to own the vision and multi-year roadmap for Infrastructure Financial Management in the United States. You will drive FinOps practices across engineering, lead cost optimization initiatives, and develop dashboards with Power BI/Tableau to inform executives and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Cloud, Infrastructure, Technology Finance, or Technical Product Management.
• Proven expertise with FinOps principles and cloud cost management tools.
• Strong understanding of public cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP) and on-prem cost models.
• Understanding of Containers/Kubernetes cost allocation.
• Experience with Agile environments and delivering features.

• Generate the product vision and roadmap aligned with strategic business or technology direction
• Communicate product vision and roadmap to stakeholders and drive user adoption
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand needs and align priorities
• Prioritize and create work for multiple teams with cross‑functional collaboration
• Create, prioritize, and refine product backlog stories
• Review and accept stories and make scope and requirements decisions
• Partner with teams to maximize value from technology and subject‑matter expertise
• Own the multi‑year roadmap for Infrastructure Financial Management capabilities, including cloud cost transparency, forecasting, unit economics, optimization tooling, and automated governance
• Develop KPIs measuring cost efficiency, allocation accuracy, forecasting precision, and optimization impact
• Evaluate market trends, vendor capabilities, and emerging FinOps tooling
• Lead FinOps practices across engineering teams, including cost awareness, showback/chargeback, and cost‑efficient design patterns
• Implement and enhance cloud cost management platforms such as Apptio Cloudability
• Build or improve automated workflows for unit cost calculations, rightsizing, and reserved instance/savings plan management
• Identify optimization opportunities across compute, storage, network, and containerized environments
• Define and maintain infrastructure cost allocation models for showback and chargeback
• Drive forecasting accuracy through consumption modeling and Finance alignment
• Use Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Databricks, and Python to create dashboards and insights

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Cloud, Infrastructure, Technology Finance, or Technical Product Management
• Proven expertise with FinOps principles and hands‑on experience with cloud cost management tools
• Strong understanding of public cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP), on‑premise compute, storage, and network cost models
• Understanding of Containers/Kubernetes cost allocation
• Ability to analyze large datasets and build financial models
• Experience managing technical product roadmaps and delivering features in Agile environments
• Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex data into clear narratives for executives
• FinOps Certified Practitioner or Professional preferred
• Experience with ApptioOne, Kubernetes cost management frameworks such as Kubecost, and Terraform/Infrastructure as Code awareness preferred
• Familiarity with capacity management and Infrastructure lifecycle models preferred
• Background in financial planning, accounting, or budgeting practices preferred
