Job summary

BDO USA, LLP is seeking an experienced Product Owner, Exp Senior Associate, for the BDO Advantage initiative in the United States. You’ll translate visions into detailed requirements, manage backlogs, and coordinate with engineers and QA in an agile environment.

You’ll work with global stakeholders, drive roadmap planning, and analyze KPIs to optimize product performance across assurance technology platforms. A strong background in product management and Scrum is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance is required.
• Four or more years of product management and/or development experience required.
• Experience with development of custom web applications and digital transformation in assurance or compliance industries preferred.
• Certified Scrum Product Owner or Professional Scrum Product Owner preferred.
• Proficiency in managing user stories and backlog in Azure DevOps or similar products, required.

Responsibilities

• Translates business demands into strategic product roadmaps for complex assurance technology.
• Prioritizes product launches using agile methodologies to deliver key capabilities.
• Manages product backlogs and aligns work with organizational goals.
• Defines and documents advanced feature requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborates with global stakeholders and cross-functional teams to drive consensus.
• Plans sprints with development and testing teams and coordinates dependencies.
• Prepares release plans and provides updates to stakeholders throughout lifecycle.
• Monitors KPIs to ensure product performance and optimization opportunities.
