Amazon Key – Ring is seeking a hands-on, AI-first Sr Product Manager – Tech to own hardware, firmware, and software products from concept to ship. You will define roadmaps, write specs, prototype solutions, and guide AI-powered experiences for global customers.

This role collaborates with hardware and software teams, design, operations, finance, legal, and executives to bring products to market, grow opportunities, and measure outcomes in a fast-paced, high-autonomy environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the definition, design, development, and launch of hardware and software products that delight customers – hands‑on, from concept to ship.
• Lead the development of product strategy and vision supported by internal and external analysis, including AI‑native and agentic AI experiences.
• Define creative, high‑quality, simple product roadmaps and make crisp prioritization decisions.
• Write detailed business requirements, user stories, and technical specifications that engineering teams can build from directly.
• Rapidly prototype solutions independently – create mocks, wireframes, or basic functioning prototypes without waiting for engineering or design resources.
• Partner deeply with software and hardware engineering teams daily – participate in design reviews, make trade‑off calls, and unblock delivery.
• Manage backlog prioritization and trade‑offs among customer feedback, business opportunities, performance, and operational load.
• Proactively identify and resolve strategic and technical issues that may impair the team's ability to meet goals.
• Drive measurable business outcomes – define success metrics, track results, and iterate based on data.

We are seeking a hands‑on, AI first Sr Product Manager – Tech who is passionate about building hardware products from the ground up – with a strong emphasis on design, quality, performance, and customer satisfaction. This is not a coordination role; you will be in the craft of building – writing specs, making prototype, making architectural trade‑off decisions, defining AI‑powered experiences, shipping product alongside engineers, defining and tracking metrics and results. You will lead product development and business for consumer‑and/or business‑facing products globally, spanning hardware, firmware, and software.

This role is inherently cross‑functional. You will work closely with hardware and software engineering, design, operations, finance, legal, business development, sales, marketing, finance and executive teams to: 1) bring products to market, 2) develop and grow business opportunities, and 3) enhance our existing products and features. A successful candidate will be highly analytical, resourceful, customer‑focused, and will have a proven track record of shipping products end‑to‑end and delivering measurable business outcomes in a fast‑paced, high‑autonomy environment.

A day in the life

You lead product development for our products from the ground up, and lead hardware, firmware, and software verticals. You partner with product leaders, engineering, legal, privacy, marketing and more to deliver delightful customer experiences. You will own the features end to end and anticipate customer needs and plan for future features and improvements. You will advocate for customer experience and maintain strong ownership over customer experience.

Working with a rapidly growing team, you will quickly adapt to new developments and invent and simplify as we take on ambitious growth goals for our org! We need builders who move fast and deliver results.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
• Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
• Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
• Experience managing technical products or online services
• Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive‑level prioritization and planning

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
• Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
