Broadcom is seeking a Senior Product Manager to define and drive the Open Mainframe Solutions roadmap within the Foundational and Open Solutions value stream. You will empower customers to modernize, automate, and integrate their mainframe applications, influencing strategy across platforms and teams.

The role requires 12+ years in product/program management or enterprise software, deep open-tech knowledge (Linux, GIT, Python), and strong executive communication for CXO engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or closely related field.
• 12+ years of experience in product/service/project/program management or enterprise software development.
• Deep understanding of the mainframe software industry and transforming trends.
• Strong knowledge of software solutions built on open technologies like Linux, GIT, Python.
• Advanced understanding of B2B software licensing and product delivery.
• Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects and stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with executive-level presentation experience.

Responsibilities

• Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Open Mainframe Solutions initiatives.
• Serve as primary liaison between market requirements and R&D for Open Mainframe initiatives.
• Prioritize features and translate customer needs into actionable stories; explore AI/ML opportunities.
• Identify and remove roadblocks across cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery.
• Lead GTM initiatives and measure success via KPIs; present strategy to CXO-level audiences.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and service providers to ensure long-term value.
