Job summary

Audinate is seeking a Senior Product Manager for video products to lead the full life cycle of the Whole Product within the Installed Systems Development Team. You will create an entirely new product area within Audinate's AV platform.

The ideal candidate will be a technical leader with a vision for new products in installed AV, not merely replicating existing solutions. You will showcase interpersonal skills, collaboration, and market them to customers.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Product Management experience with emphasis on whole product methodologies including Product Marketing
• Experience in AV-over-IP video products, technologies and systems
• Working in agile dev, high-throughput product development cycles
• Experience managing OEM/ODM relationships a plus
• Demonstrable AV system design skills and related certifications (Q-SYS, Crestron, Visionary Solutions)

Responsibilities

• Create product roadmaps based on usability studies, VOC and market research
• Create and maintain Product and Market Requirements Documents
• Develop business cases and own the financial plan for products and portfolio
• Write detailed product requirements for engineering and OEM/ODM partners
• Present product visions to stakeholders and demonstrate value
• Support sales and marketing in rollout strategies and campaigns
• Monitor product metrics and use data to improve performance
• Track competitive landscape and technology trends
• Lead tradeshow activities and product demonstrations

Who we're looking for

We are seeking an experienced and proven Senior Product Manager for video products to support our Installed Systems Development Team and oversee the full life cycle of the \"Whole Product\". In this role, you will create an entirely new product area within Audinate's AV platform.

The ideal candidate will be a technical leader with a vision for creating new products in the installed AV space, not just replicating what has already been produced by others.

We will look for you to showcase your intuitive interpersonal skills, collaborative abilities, research &peoplenetworking skills, and proven leadership to conceptualize products, features and most importantly market them to our customers

Responsibilities

• Create product roadmaps based on usability studies, VOC competitive research, and internal collaboration with the development team


• Create and maintain Product Requirement Documents and Market Requirement Documents


• Develop business cases and own the accountability for the financial plan for your products and portfolio


• Author detailed product requirements for Audinate's engineering teams and OEM/ODM partners


• Share your vision through product demonstrations to stakeholders


• Support sales and marketing in defining rollout strategies and marketing campaigns


• Monitor product financial and quality metrics - utilizing data to improve product performance and capabilities


• Keep abreast of competitive landscape and technology trends.


• Tradeshow management and leadership selling of your product lines

Requirements

• 10+ years Product Management experience with a strong emphasis on whole product methodologies including Product Marketing aspects


• Working \"AV system design\" knowledge specifically in video systems leveraging AV-over-IP technology in the installed AV industry


• Experience with AV-over-IP video products, technologies and systems


• Experience in agile dev, high-throughput product development cycles


• Experience in managing OEM/ODM relationships is a plus


• Demonstratable AV system design skills, certifications and knowledge in one or more of the following: Q-SYS, Crestron, Visionary Solutions, and similar AV-over-IP systems

Additional desirable skills and experience

• AIPMM certification


• Prior technical AV sales experience e.g. with an integrator, manufacturer, rep firm


• Degree in Engineering or Business discipline

$140,000 - $211,000 a year

Compensation

Audinate aims to pay a competitive salary that is aligned to market however exact final salary will vary dependent on skills and experience, location and internal equity.
