We are seeking a Senior Product Manager, Home Networking to lead the strategy, roadmap development, and execution of TP-Link Systems’ next-generation networking product portfolio, including Mesh systems, Routers, Accessories, Extenders, Portable Wi-Fi solutions, Broadband Access Gateways, and related connected networking products. This role will own products across their complete lifecycle, spanning hardware, firmware, mobile applications, and cloud ecosystems. The ideal candidate combines deep consumer home networking industry knowledge with strong product strategy expertise and the ability to drive innovation in highly competitive consumer technology markets. This organization currently manages a broad portfolio of consumer home networking products and ecosystems. As TP-Link Systems continues to invest in product innovation and organizational growth, we are expanding the Product Management team with multiple hires, with the long-term vision of dedicated product leadership for individual product lines. This is an opportunity to directly influence the future of connected home networking experiences, including emerging technologies such as Wi‑Fi 8, AI‑powered networking features, and next‑generation connected home ecosystems.

Product Managers within this organization are empowered to serve as the true end‑to‑end owners of their products, including identifying customer pain points, defining feature requirements, driving engineering execution, influencing product quality decisions, developing go‑to‑market strategies, coordinating launch execution, and continuously improving the user experience after release. At TP-Link Systems, Product Management extends far beyond writing PRDs. Senior Product Managers are expected to drive the entire product development lifecycle by collaborating closely with R&D, QA, PMO, manufacturing, industrial design, supply chain, vendors, sales, and marketing teams to ensure successful product delivery and strong market positioning. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the strategy, roadmap planning, and execution of consumer home networking products across multiple categories, including Mesh systems, Routers, Accessories, Extenders, Portable Wi‑Fi solutions, and Broadband Access Gateways
  • Own the full product development lifecycle from concept and product definition through launch, shipment, and post‑launch optimization
  • Develop Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), feature strategies, pricing recommendations, and business cases for hardware, firmware, mobile app, and cloud‑connected product experiences
  • Conduct industry‑wide competitive analysis and market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and product opportunities
  • Identify real consumer pain points and define product solutions that balance technical feasibility, user experience, and business objectives
  • Define go‑to‑market (GTM) strategies, target markets, feature positioning, and competitive differentiation for product lines
  • Collaborate closely with R&D and QA teams to communicate product requirements, evaluate technical tradeoffs, prioritize features, and drive product decisions
  • Lead cross‑functional collaboration with PMO, manufacturing, industrial design, supply chain, vendors, sales, and marketing teams to ensure successful product delivery and launch execution
  • Evangelize product strategies, new technologies, and feature innovations to internal stakeholders, sales teams, partners, and customers
  • Drive innovation initiatives involving emerging technologies such as AI integrations and next‑generation wireless networking standards, including Wi‑Fi 8
  • Make product decisions related to performance, security, usability, launch readiness, and feature prioritization based on market intelligence and customer insights
  • Analyze customer feedback, market dynamics, and product performance data to continuously improve product experiences and business outcomes
  • Mentor or guide junior product managers and contribute to best practices within the product organization
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Business, or a related field required
  • 5+ years of product management experience within consumer home networking, connected devices, smart home, or related technology industries; 6+ years preferred
  • Proven experience owning hardware‑related product lines and managing products through the complete product development lifecycle
  • Strong understanding of consumer home networking technologies, including routers, mesh systems, wireless standards, cloud‑connected ecosystems, and mobile app integrations
